All membership applications are subject to approval by the Board of Directors, who meet at the end of each month.
As of 1st September, all 7-day membership categories—including 7 Day Full Membership, 7 Day Young Adult, and 7 Day Colts—will be placed on a waitlist. The waitlist will be reviewed monthly at the Board meeting, and eligible applications will be approved accordingly. For further enquiries, please contact our office.

Active playing members are welcome to use their own private golf carts on approval.
The yearly registration fee is $200 per cart.
Terms & Conditions
All private carts must hold current Third Party Property Insurance.
Proof of insurance must be provided to the office prior to payment approval.
If you require assistance with suitable insurance providers, please contact our office.
Once payment has been received and insurance verified, you will be issued with an A5 verification label. This label must be clearly displayed on your cart or able to be presented upon request at any time.
Registration is valid for a 12-month period and applies regardless of how often the cart is used throughout the year.
Failure to comply with the above conditions may result in the suspension of private cart privileges. Members may then be required to hire one of the club’s carts for course use.
Private cart registration is available to active playing members only.
Visitors wishing to use a private cart must contact the Pro Shop prior to arrival for approval and usage conditions.
FRIENDLY REMINDER: each application is for one person only . The option to select multiple groups is provided so applicants can join a 7 day waitlist category as well as another group while waiting for a 7 day position to become available. It is not for multiple people. We appreciate your understanding.
Simply select the membership category you wish to join, edit the start date, preview and accept the quote, fill in your details, and than submit.
All memberships at Shortland Waters Golf Club are payable annually from your membership join date. If you would prefer to spread the cost of your membership, we offer a flexible payment option through Pay as you Golf, an independent third-party payment provider.
Please note that all membership applications must first be approved by Shortland Waters Golf Club before you are eligible to apply for the Pay as you Golf payment option.
Pay as you Golf allows eligible members to pay their annual membership fees in convenient monthly or fortnightly instalments, making it easier to manage your household budget while enjoying all the benefits of club membership. Your membership fees are paid to the club in full by Pay as you Golf, and you simply make your scheduled repayments directly to them.

Payment by Cash, Cheque, or EFTPOS is acceptable, however, there is a 2.5% fee for any credit card transactions. The Clubhouse also has an ATM for your convenience. Other conditions may apply.
