In compliance with the latest announcements from the NSW Government & NSW Health, Shortland Waters Golf Club will continue to trade for golf, take away food, and takeaway alcohol for consumption on the course.
The clubhouse is CLOSED until further notice.
If you live in the Newcastle LGA - you CAN play at SWGC.
If your house is outside the Newcastle LGA - you must be within a 5km radius to play at SWGC.
Proof of residency documentation is required.
The Golf Shop is open for green fee payments and golf essentials.
Check in is required using the NSW Services app upon entry.
Masks must be worn in the car park, golf shop, putting green and surrounds.
ON THE COURSE
Maximum of 2 players per group.
Two people permitted per cart with just the one designated driver.
Golfers are not to arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before tee time and will be asked to return to their cars if they arrive early.
Masks must stay on until you arrive on the 1st tee, and put back on as you complete your round.
Members practice facilities are out of play at the moment, but the putting practice green can be used for a quick putt before heading to the tee.
Maximum 2 players on the putting green at any time.
Course COVID Marshalls
COVID Marshalls will be on course daily to ensure all players comply with the guidelines issued by Golf NSW & NSW Health.
SWGC Management will monitor future communications and update any requirements for members, visitors and guests as it becomes available.
At the Clubhouse
There will be NO raffles or member draws until further notice.
Toilet facilities are available for use.
