Newcastle's iconic 18 hole layout nestled on the edges of the Hunter Wetlands

After a multimillion dollar redevelopment the newly configured 18 Hole Par 71 course of 5871 metres features 8 new holes, 6 of which are to world standard links style design and construction, with superb quality greens and surrounds. A unique and enjoyable challenge for all golfers.

Social game bookings can be made online or by calling the Golf Shop team on 49558169. Members can book by using the member portal in the top menu. You can simply drop in for a visit Off Vale Street, Shortland. Plus there is a variety of flexible memberships options available.
Modern Clubhouse
More than just a great golf course. Facilities include air conditioned sports bar and dining area, plus TAB, Sky Racing, Keno and Foxtel. Spacious fresh air alfresco areas offer fabulous views of the course. Bistro Open for Dinner - 3 nights. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 5:30pm

Take away food and snacks are available everyday from the bar area & golf shop

Payments for all transactions can be made with cash or card at the bar, reception, golf shop or over the phone

Alcoholic beverages must be purchased from SWGC only. No private eskies or alcoholic products are to be brought onto the premises.
